The Methodist Children’s Academy (MCA) offers full-day and after school care in our newly remodeled facilities on the campus of First United Methodist Church in beautiful downtown Pensacola.
Understanding the benefits of grouping classrooms according to ages and stages of development, MCA now offers an infant/toddler building and a separate preschool building that houses our two and three year old preschool, as well as our very successful Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program. This restructuring allows us to share resources and ideas, while creating a program focusing on the cognitive development of your children.
The Methodist Children’s Academy has an experienced and professional staff, who creatively implement the school’s curriculum. Our curriculum is planned with monthly themes and includes music, chapel, movement, art, language, and monthly special events that are age appropriate. Social, physical, cognitive, and emotional areas of growth are fostered through interesting experiences in the program’s setting.
Full Day Program
MCA offers a full-time, year round program in our beautiful facilities with an experienced staff. The hours are 7:00am-5:50pm and the program operates throughout the year with the exception of designated school holidays.
After School Care
MCA offers after school care for children Kindergarten through 5th grade on our campus in downtown Pensacola. Our program provides quiet homework time, snack, group games and outside free play. Transportation is available for children from N.B. Cook Elementary and Suter Elementary.
